  3. SAWiC to be a global association of excellence enhancing the role of women in the construction and housing industry through members running profitable business enterprises. VISION

  4. Women and Girl Child Empowerment. Establish networks, partnerships, joint ventures and consortiums. Establish branches in all municipalities. Job creation. Acceleration of service delivery. Build capacity and mentor members. Negotiate deals and opportunities. OBJECTIVES

  7. Establishment of a partnership with each municipality. Establishment of a one stop shop in each municipality the PHP centre can be used as a vehicle. Establish a branch to empower local people. Trainings to be linked to projects. To assist in establishing organised groups for maximum participation. Accelerations of service delivery – objectives of the ASGISA OUR APPROACH

  8. PHP – NEWREST Work with stake holders: Thubelisha, NHBRC, City of Cape Town etc. Minister announcement formation of the company for the 200 volunteers from the area.

  9. Have identified a project management company to kick start the company. Project management to raise funds to appointment a CEO to run the company & a Board. Members to work for the company and get a salary and share dividends. This will alleviate poverty and uplift the standard of living in the area. Cont.

  10. Dedicate one of the main events towards support PHP by helping 10 – 20 houses with the PHP groups Encourage PHP groups to be part of the training conducted by NHBRC. Train the PHP group on home ownership. Other stakeholders are showing interest in supporting and assisting e.g. Standard bank, NEDBANK etc. Support the supplier, member company of SAWIC CON.
