  2. A sentence is a complete thought. Here are some sentences. • I asked Daddy for an elephant. • Franny and Ginny are sisters. • Friends can help you live longer.

  3. These are not sentences. They don’t tell us a complete idea. Asked Daddy for an elephant. Franny and Ginny are. Live longer.

  4. Pick out the one that is a sentence. Franny spied a ladybug. Franny and Ginny with overalls. The older sister.
