Remove the original stimulus Unconditioned Response Neutral Stimulus Now, we just ring the bell. And what is this? The dog is salivating without the food being there!
Now, the neutral stimulus causes the response. Conditioning has occurred Conditioned Stimulus Conditioned Response The dog has been conditioned to associate the bell with food! YAY!
