Neutral Stimulus(NS) Before training, the stimulus that has no effect
Unconditioned Stimulus(UCS) Any stimulus that can evoke a response without the organism going through any previous learning (no training required)
Unconditioned Response(UCR) The response associated with the Unconditioned Stimulus before the experiment with no training required
Conditioned Stimulus(CS) The once Neutral Stimulus that produces a response after training
Conditioned Response(CR) The reaction to the Conditioned Stimulus
Extinction The disappearance of the Conditioned Response after the Conditioned Stimulus is no longer presented with the Unconditioned Stimulus
Spontaneous Recovery After extinction has occurred, the reappearance of the Conditioned Response when the Conditioned Stimulus is presented
Generalization Responding to other stimuli similar to that of the Conditioned Stimulus
Discrimination Responding in a different way to similar stimuli
