Encourage senators to reach out to faculty with leadership potential as well as established leaders. • New Faculty Orientation • Assign Mentors to Newly Hired Faculty • Avoid Overuse of Acronyms and Other Technical Language • Establish Formal Successor Structures Such as Senate President-Elect.
