MP11 – RARF Submittals by Resource Entities Since the January 23rd TPTF Resource Registration Update • Combined Cycle Addendum (2) sent January 28th. • Sent QSE specific scores on status of resources they represent. • MP-11 scores were posted February 1st. • ERCOT resource data validation begin. • Conducted Combined Cycle Workshop (1/31). • Addendum one-on-one help sessions. • Continue to assist with questions from Resource Owners. GOOD Response • RED • 27 Resource Entities are RED due to no EDS 4 RARF submitted or no submittal since November (no planning data submitted) • AMBER • 46 Resource Entities are AMBER due to missing data • GREEN • 87 Resource Entities are GREEN Lead from the front Texas Nodal

RARF Issues • Understanding Nodal Parameters • Completion of ramp rate curves • Completion of times/energy (min up time, min offline time, start times, weekly energy, etc.) • Completion of configurations and transitions for combined cycle • Incomplete forms • Protection • Auxiliary load • Generator details • Reactive capability • Transformer details • More precision necessary for Nodal / LMPs • Additional modeling of generator-owned transmission elements • Private modeling of private networks for reliability • Data not readily available Lead from the front Texas Nodal

Efforts to Correct RARF Data • Known problem areas for the entire market include • Transformer Details • Ramp Rates • Reactive Capability Curves • Resource Parameters • Efforts moving forward to validate data needed by Nodal systems include • Validation of data by experts of each system using data • Providing feedback to Resource Entities on improving data • Documenting explanations and specific details to assist with workshop and ultimately new registrations Lead from the front Texas Nodal

  12. RARF Addendum 1 Update • Preliminary submittal information • By unit: 375 received of 537 expected (70%) • Additional assets to be registered in model, such as BKR G1 Lead from the front Texas Nodal

Resource Registration – Looking Forward * • February 29: Addendum 2 due (CC only) • February 7 – 22: Revision of A/S Attestations (by QSE, by Unit) • February – March: Resource Mapping (MP10) • March: RARF Workshops based on entity type (Wind, CC, PUN, Load, and all other Generation) • March 15: End of acceptance of RARFs and addendums; conclude data validation of data received through RARF iterative process • March 15 – April 7: Hold on RARF submittals to create final RARF to send to Resource Entities • April 7 – April 25: Resource Entities review and submit certified RARF to ERCOT • From this point on – all submittals must be certified and on the final RARF form * Dates may change to meet NMMS or EDS needs Lead from the front Texas Nodal
