GCTE Registry Subcommittee MeetingRegistrar Education Standard • “It is important to acknowledge that high-quality data begins • with high-quality data entry, and it is the trauma registrar • who is responsible for performing this task.” • Education CD 15-7 • Within 12 months of hire: • American Trauma Society’s Trauma Registrar Course(or equivalent provided by a state trauma program) • Association of the Advancement of Automotive Medicine’s (AAAM) Injury Scaling Course • Registrars should complete a minimum of 8 hours registry-specific continuing education per year. 7/11/19
