Founded – 1969 • SABRE’s mission is worth of donated books available to needy individuals in developing and transitional societies worldwide • Since 1986, Sabre Foundation has shipped close to 5 million new • books, donated by more than 200 publishers, to libraries, universities, • schools, and hospitals in Africa, the Caribbean, Latin America, • Central and Eastern Europe, the former Soviet Union and Asia.

  7. PROGRAMS Book Donations Sabre has to date shipped new books, journals, CD-ROMS and early learning materials to more than 60 countries. Library and Information Technology Services Internet and related information technology training Philosophy of Institutions Project From time to time Sabre has organized and sponsored international conferences, scholarly research and publication Economic Principals Project Sabre Foundation is collaborating with long-time newspaperman David Warsh to publish online coverage of university economics.
