What We Know Broadband Technology Opportunities Program competitive grants, loans focus on “unserved” and “underserved” areas minimum one grant per state Rural Utilities Service grants, loans, loan guarantees 75% of service area must be rural without “sufficient access” Public comment period ended April 13 (1,400+ comments) Two months to review comments Three rounds of awards by September 30, 2010
