Name still to be determined. Concept. A new way to sell products. An item has a certain amount of tickets, once all the tickets are sold a ticket is randomly chosen and the product is sold to that ticket holder at the tickets price.

Concept • A new way to sell products. • An item has a certain amount of tickets, once all the tickets are sold a ticket is randomly chosen and the product is sold to that ticket holder at the tickets price. • But what happens to the other ticket holders? The product is offered back minus their ticket price investment. • Either way, the ticket holder doesn’t lose. And the system always wins.
Example • Lets take an IPOD I could purchase from the manufacturer for $100 per unit. • Lets list it with 10 tickets, $12 per ticket. Total of $120. • Once all tickets are sold, $20 has been made. But remember, the ticket holders who weren't chosen still have the option to purchase the product minus their ticket cost. It’s offered for $120 - $12 = $108 Which is still $8 more then my cost.
More detail • Any products could be used with the system. • A 10%-20% profit could be made per unit. • The number of tickets and price per ticket could be adjusted to how the market reacts. Take the IPOD example, it could also have 50 tickets at $2.50 Which is a total of $125. • Who wouldn’t attempt to purchase an IPOD for $2.50?
Continued.. • When the ticket number is increased and the price is reduced the number of tickets a single person can hold can increase. • This system is directed towards the people who couldn’t actually go out and buy the product. • All products will be drop shipped from the manufactures, so I wouldn’t need to have a warehouse full of products. • I would have a products page that had every product accessible for sale. The users themselves would be able to choose a product to start the ticket sales.
What do you think? • Does this system sound possible? • Profitable? • Viable?
