Block Diagram of Computer

The Computer system consists of mainly three types that are central processing unit (CPU),Input Devices, and Output Devices .The Central processing unit (CPU) again consists of ALU (Arithmetic Logic Unit) and Control Unit. The set of instruction is presented to the computer in the form of raw data which is entered through input devices such as keyboard or mouse.<br><br>Later this set of instruction is processed with the help of CPU, and the computer system Produce an Output with the help of OUTPUT Devices mainly Printer and monitors. Large amount of data is stored in the computer memory with the help of primary and secondary storage devices temporarily and permanently.This are called as storage devices<br><br>The CPU is the heart | Brian of a computer because without the necessary action taken by the CPU the user cannot get the desired output. The central Processing unit [CPU] is responsible for processing all the Instruction which is given to computer system or PC. What is Basic Block Diagram of Computer System • A Computer consists of primarily three different types they are central processing unit commonly called as processor [CPU], Input Devices and Output Devices. • Further Central Processing Unit contains ALU [Arithmetic Logic Unit] and Control Unit. The set of instruction or information or data submitted to computer is in a raw form which is entered with the help of input devices like keyboard and mouse

  3. The Basic parts of computer are as follows • Input Devices • Output Devices • Central Processing • Unit [CPU] • Storage Unit • Arithmetic Logic • Unit [ALU] • Control Unit

  4. Input Devices of Computer System keyboard and mouse • The Information or raw data is provided to computer system or personal computer [PC] with the help or assistant of input devices like keyboard and mouse etc.

  5. Output Devices of Computer System Printer and monitor • A Personal computer produces output or outcome with the help and assistant of output devices such as printer, monitor and so on .The Output devices helps computer system to covert the raw data into human readable form.

  6. Central Processing Unit [CPU] Processing • The Central Processing Unit is known as Brain or Heart of computer system The CPU perform each and every single arithmetic and logical operations presented to them.

  7. Storage Unit Ram Hard Disk Drives • The Information or data is saved or are hold in computer memory there are two types of storage . • 1] Primary Storage [RAM and ROM] • 2] Secondary storage [Hard Disk Drives or Pen drives]

  8. Arithmetic Logic Unit [ALU] • ALU performs arithmetic and logical operation. When a set of instruction or program is conveyed out. Control unit generally characterized which sort of operation to Execute

  9. Control Unit • The control Unit or CU Controls or coordinates all activities performed in a computer system. It receives information or instruction or directions from the main memory of personal computer system
