Student Information Sheet • This form will be given to seniors at the beginning of school • It is used for letters of recommendation • The resume is a part of this information sheet
Class Ranking Class of ‘11 • Prelim Class Rank available in May • Official class rank available in September Due to later start date of school, this 6 semester ranking is the only one available for most college admissions deadlines!
Review: To Do List • Research colleges/review course requests • Visit colleges • Take SAT/ACT spring semester • Know your college’s deadlines • Create Resume before August • Be ready to apply to your colleges in September!
Dual Credit/exceptionalenrollment • Seniors: English IV • We will use PSAT scores for qualification • Current DC History students have priority/already qualified. • Must apply online with Lone Star College, meet test score minimum, register and pay. • Details in January when we register for classes.
ASVAB test March 10th • Sign up for this test in the counseling office • Great tool to help you with career choices • It measures interests and aptitudes in many areas • FREE—taken at KCHS on a school day • REQUIRED if planning to join the military
