OUR CHARGE • Review current schedule in light of staffing adjustments • Develop a schedule that: • Meets state contact time and credit requirements • Does not change district graduation requirements • Fits within the budget/staffing allotment • Provides flexibility for students and staff • Is educationally sound • Supports the SIP/accreditation process • High schools may have different schedules • University High School teachers voted for a contract modification which allows them to continue the 4 period day • Central Valley High School staff indicated that they would not support a four period contract modification

FEEDBACK RESULTS • Preferred Schedule = C (3 6-period days and 2 block days) • Community 71% • Staff 64 % • Students 8 % • Overall 52% • Student choice = 4 blocked days (61%) • Other Schedules over all choice • Option A - Straight 6 period day = 23% • Option B -1 6 period day and 4 blocked days = 25%
