Family life in Islam • Islam teaches the importance of the family and the specific roles and responsibilities that different members of the family have.
Family responsibilities • You are each one member of the family. Complete your section of the table on p28 of your worksheet booklet.

Parents One of our jobs as a parent is to make sure our children have a religious upbringing and follow the Qur’an It’s also our job to send our children to the Madrasah to help them learn about Islam

Why is family life important? • Use the pictures on the next slide to help you work out why family life is important in Islam. • Write down the headings, with FOUR lines between each one. • Then add the explanations that go with the headings. These are on a separate slide.
