JMT&E Division • We serve by… • Coordinating DoD medical T&E information • Disseminate testing information: “Who’s doing what, when, where?” • Monitor for material deficiencies, transmit safety concerns, organize investigations, guide solutions • Encouraging Joint-Service medical Operational T&E • Assisting with: • Market research • Generation of essential characteristics, key performance parameters, T&E criteria and protocols, and medical equipment policy • Our Customers: Program managers, requirements generators, combat developers, T&E activities, logistical agencies, medical trainers, and external organizations UNCLASSIFIED
JMT&E Division: Current Projects • Joint-Service IFAK IPT • DMMPO acting as Mediator of this quad-Service team • Working towards a true Joint-Service IFAK (JFAK), based on CoTCCC recommendations • Inspections of Deployed Medical Items • Collaboration -- Armed Forces Medical Examiner System (AFMES) & DMMPO • Performed at Dover Port Mortuary on medical materiel used on / carried by fallen warfighters • Key Output: Feedback to the Field • Describe critical device /training issue discoveries • Distributed to clinicians, logisticians, and trainers; briefed to Committee on Tactical Combat Casualty Care (CoTCCC) • Coordination of Operational Testing (OT) • Collaboration with FOA-DMMPO • Ensures proper OT of Joint Products of Choice • Permits DMMPO to manage the full medical materiel selection process UNCLASSIFIED
