OVERVIEW Controlling or charging for printing has become an imperative in the library setting. Using OCS print station software will reduce wasteful printing and allow the library patron to print and pay for printing in a self service manner. OCS is currently compatible with 15 different manufactures debit reader systems.
Ways to vend • Coin or Coin & Bill • Debit card • Card Dispenser Encoder • Debit Card Readers • Debit Cards • Keypad Encoder • Charge to an Account
Configuration Card Reader or Coin op The vend device (coin or card) is serially connected to the PC. The Printer can be local or networked.
The user confirms payment After the user selects something to print, the system asks them to pay for it. A Coin/Bill unit or card reader is attached to the PC print station via serial connection.
System Requirements • OCS SA requires windows 9x or better • Printer – HP PCL compatible or Postscript level 2
