Module 5.4 Bidding in an E-Sourcing Auction • Use this procedure as a Supplier to participate in an E-Sourcing Auction. • Select E-Sourcing URL to go To Log In screen. • https://sourcing.flextronics.com/fsvendor/vendordesktop/login?allow_redirect=true • NOTE: You need to have a Log In and Password, which you should have received in an email. (Reference to Module 5.1 for first time log in and change password) • Helpful Hints: • The URL in the email invitation will take you directly to that Auction, rather than navigating through your workbench. • You can use the Event Message Board to send messages to only the Buyside (Event Owner and any Internal Collaborators/Stakeholders).

5.4 Bidding in an E-Sourcing Auction Upon Log In, you will see the Event Terms
5.4 Bidding in an E-Sourcing Auction Scroll to the bottom, select Accept, and click Finish
5.4 Bidding in an E-Sourcing Auction Auction Opens in the Header Tab Click on Bidding tab to Preview Auction
5.4 Bidding in an E-Sourcing Auction Bidding Tab displays Line Items, Detail Information and Message Board Bids can not be placed in the Preview Phase, Start and End Time, and Time Remaining in Phase are also Shown

5.4 Bidding in an E-Sourcing Auction Participation Confirmed Can begin Bidding when Auction opens
5.4 Bidding in an E-Sourcing Auction In this example, the Auction has entered the Bid Phase. By default all items are checked, if you do not want to bid on an item, simply uncheck the item. To start placing bids, click on Bid on Selected Items.
5.4 Bidding in an E-Sourcing Auction Enter the Bid Unit Price for each line item (you can use the Tab button to move to the next line item) Click Next
5.4 Bidding in an E-Sourcing Auction Bid Preview Click Back to go back and change Bid – Place Bid will submit the bid
5.4 Bidding in an E-Sourcing Auction Once you Place Bid, you should receive a message indicating it was placed. Click OK
5.4 Bidding in an E-Sourcing Auction You can minimize or expand the Line Item Details and Event Message Board
5.4 Bidding in an E-Sourcing Auction If the Auction event owner has set up the auction to display rank, you will be able to see where you rank in the bid of each item. In this example, for item 2 the Rank is 2 of 2, meaning “My Last Bid” has been outbid To bid again, select items and click Bid on Selected Items
5.4 Bidding in an E-Sourcing Auction Quick Bid will auto populate the bid field with the Next Bid Unit Price (based on the Bid Improvement amount selected by the event owner) To proceed with the Bid, Click Next
5.4 Bidding in an E-Sourcing Auction Once again, Bid Preview. Click Place Bid to proceed with bid
5.4 Bidding in an E-Sourcing Auction You will receive a message that the bid was placed successfully, Click OK
5.4 Bidding in an E-Sourcing Auction When the Auction has ended, the Current Phase will be listed as Closed
5.4 Bidding in an E-Sourcing Auction It is Important to note that the rank alone does not determine who has won the auction. Automatic Awards are not sent out, since other factors (such as delivery terms, tooling cost, payment terms, etc.) will determine the lowest total cost. The event owner will send out further notifications regarding the auction.
