What does adding mean? • Adding is to join two numbers or more together or (something to something else) so as to increase the size, number, or the amount. • For example, if Amy have 10 student at her class and she is making birthday cards, and she just did 8 cards how many cards does she need add?! Amy need to add 2 more cards.

  3. Number 1 • For example, imagine if Sarah have one apple in her basket and Britney have three apples in here basket how many do they have? • 1+2=3 do you see a pattern there? • 1+3=4 yes, the results are • 1+4=5 sequence. • 1+5=6

  4. Number2 • Lets say Tim is counting airplanes in the sky, and he saw 2 airplane then after five minutes he sees another 3 airplanes, how many airplanes did Tim saw? 5 airplanes • 2+2=4 right the best answer in a paper • 2+3=5 2+6= 2+9= • 2+4=6 2+7= 2+10= • 2+5=7 2+8=

  5. Number 3 • Mary and Jim are playing with blocks, and Mary have 3 blocks and Jim have 5 blocks, how many blocks do they have?! • 3+2=5 right the best answer in a paper • 3+3= 6 3+6= 3+9= • 3+4= 7 3+7= 3+10= • 3+5= 8 3+8=
