  2. FFT ASPIRE Has replaced FFT Live since Sep 2014. Costs increased by 110% (£24,000 in 13/14 to £52,000 in 15/16). 3 year rolling contract introduced. Main benefit is to schools - funded through school improvement resources (DSG element). FFT LIVE – 65% of primaries and 67% of secondaries accessed system at least twice per term over past 2 years. Administered by NCC Business Intelligence (BIPI) team covers software, data, special uploads, guidance etc. Above elements not charged as some LA benefits.

FFT ASPIRE – 14/15 LA purchasing centrallySchools purchasing direct £250 for Infant Schools £300 for Primary Schools £1,250 for Secondary Schools £100 for Infant /Lower Schools and small primaries < 100 £225 Primary > 100 £650 for Secondary Schools Still a significant economy if NCC purchases NEED TO AVOID DUPLICATING COSTS AND AGREE THE ONE APPROACH.

New DFE school performance indicators: FFT estimates and targets can be viewed as levels, scaled scores or TA bands UPGRADED from FEB 27th 15 ONWARD (selection) PDF Booklet for School Leadership Teams Import teaching groups School ranking for all indicators against national dataset

FFT ASPIRE – 15/16 LA contract covers all schools – not possible to get selective discounts for some schools Alternative would be for schools to purchase individually ...or to introduce system of charging across all schools LA position is to retain central purchasing and support through BIPI team
