Course Introduction • Credits: 2.0 hrs Goals: 1) To provide an overview of the issues and practices of natural resource management; 2) To provide an in-depth examination of the multi-factors which need to be considered for sustainable natural resource management; and 3) To provide a set of reference tools and hands-on skills. • Grades: 2 project reports 20% • 1 individual presentation 10% • 1 group class presentation 20% • 1 final course article 40% • Attendance, participation 10%
2. Concepts and Definitions • Resources An organization or person: materials, money and other things that they have and can use in order to function properly.
