I. He knows the deeds of the Church. • It has kept His Word • True to the Word of God • The Bible is the authority that we need to follow • Didn’t compromise in spite of pressure • Pressure from the world to stray from the truth
I. He knows the deeds of the Church. • It has not denied His name • Stayed true in the face of trial • Strength and power comes from staying true to Christ • Profession of Christ never wavered • Boldly confess Jesus as Lord
II. He sets an open door before the Church • Holds the key of David • Kingly line of the Messiah • The One who is holy and true • Character • Authority in the kingdom
