Core Curriculum Grade 6 Ratios and Proportional Relationships Unit rate, equivalent ratios ,percent of a quantity, convert measurement units The Number System Multiply and divide fractions, GCF and LCM, Rational numbers: Absolute values and ordering, Positive and negative numbers, Graphing in all four quadrants Expressions and Equations Algebraic expressions, Exponents, One-variable equations and inequalities Geometry Area, surface area, and volume Statistics and Probability Statistical variability, Distributions (Dot plot, histogram, and box plots)
Ratios and Proportional Relationships Unit rates, Proportional relationship between two quantities, Multistep ratio and percent problems The Number System Add, subtract, multiply, and divide rational numbers including fractions Expressions and Equations Properties of operations , Multi-step problems Geometry Draw, construct, and describe geometrical figures, Angle measure, area, surface area, and volume Statistics and Probability Random sampling, Draw inferences about populations, two numerical data distributions, Compare inferences about two population, Relative frequency, Probability model, Probability of compound events Core Curriculum Grade 7
