RAL Update 25/05/2012
SP Stavelet #2 • The best stavelet side yet! • Rumours of “shrinkage” greatly exaggerated: shield pads match sensors well • I blame my plastic ruler... • Cutouts in cover layer slightly offset, but OK • Lengths of some of referencing bonds will be longer than on the existing stavelet • Roy’s design respects HV rules • My scalpel did not... Assembly mock up using module 13 (previously removed from DC-DC Stavelet)
SP Stavelet #1 (CofM 9A) with HV MUX • Leakage • 674uA MUX no sensors • 508uA MUX with sensors • 158uA Sensors only • 9uA discrepancy

Comments Comments • HV MUX seems to work well • Noise with 3 on looks slightly higher • If I rerun with 4 on that’s now higher too! • Reproducibility issue, probably not related to MUX Features • Cannot go below voltage of SP+ if one wishes to avoid trips • HV switches can change state if HV supply trips • When HV switches open, can use SHV connectors to measure hybrid “0V” potential
