OH MY GOSH!Another citation type! • Now that we have obtained royalty free images, we need to provide credit near the image and within a reference page/credits screen. • However, as we’ve learned by now, nothing within APA formatting is easy…
Note image information On March 28, 2014, I downloaded this lovely image which is called “Presentation Girl Stock Image” that someone named Iosphere uploaded on June 6, 2013 to freedigitalphotos.net.
Note credit requirements • Freedigitalphotos.net has lengthy guidelines about use of their images and how to cite: http://www.freedigitalphotos.net/images/acknowledgement.php • It states: “It is mandatory to publish an acknowledgement to FreeDigitalPhotos.net and the image creator on the page each free image is used on. For example: "Image courtesy of [contributor name] / FreeDigitalPhotos.net".
Sounds like an in-text citation, right? Their example: "Image courtesy of [contributor name] / FreeDigitalPhotos.net". My example: WRT 160 Presentations Image courtesy of iosphere / FreeDigitalPhotos.net
APA style blog • Credit within the slide seems simple enough, now we need to create a reference page. • Let’s follow the “Frankenreference” templates from blog listed above, and we can become experts in no time. Here’s the example they provide: Wyeth, A. (1948). Christina’s world [Painting]. Retrieved from http://www.moma.org/explore/collection/index

Here’s the example again: Wyeth, A. (1948). Christina’s world [Painting]. Retrieved from http://www.moma.org/explore/collection/index Here’s my citation: Iosphere.
