TASMANIAN AMBULANCE SERVICE In Australia the emergency number is 000. You can call this number from any phone. It is a free call.
TASMANIAN AMBULANCE SERVICE Dial 000. Ask for “Ambulance”.
TASMANIAN AMBULANCE SERVICE Wait for the operator to connect you to the Ambulance Service. The operator may ask you for your suburb and State. Eg. Glenorchy, Tasmania
TASMANIAN AMBULANCE SERVICE What is the exact address of the Emergency? (Eg. 5 John Street, Hobart) • If the accident is at home, tell the person on the phone where you live • If the accident is not at home try and look for a street name or building name so the person on the phone knows where you are.
