  5. daughter of theU.S Army General. she has moved from place to place and school to school. She grew up in what she called the “Dark Ages” for the deaf.

  6. she was treated no differently just because she was deaf. she has made animpacton people because she made the first Deaf movie and now deaf people don’t have to read captions to watch movies or TV.
