  2. Our definition of electronic devices • Type of gadget • Runs on electricity • Used for Communication & entertainment • Used at least once by everyone(modern generation)

  3. The Dictionary’s Definition • a device depending on the principles of electronics and using the manipulation of electron flow for its operation.

  4. Examples • IPods • Cell phones • Laptop • Television • Video games

  5. Why is it a part of teen culture? • People use it to communicate(Too lazy to meet in person) • Used for entertainment • Used to do work

  6. Negative Aspects • It takes time away from face-to-face communication • It is extremely addicting • Takes away privacy • You begin to rely on these electronic devices • Electronics are the number one cause of distracted drivers

  7. Positive Aspects • It is a portable way to communicate • It is instant communication • Has many applications that are very useful • It is very entertaining
