  3. Like RDs in a…broccoli store! Our first time hosting a conference like this! • Thanks to YOU  • voluntary participation • suggestions, feedback to surveys • assistance seeking creative solutions • 33, 67, 150!

  4. Big Numbers Conference planning committee: 8 people representing 3 local agencies! • Two background surveys and 4 meetings! • Recruited 8 speakers from 41 candidates • Interest has skyrocketed! • More than quadrupled, quadrupled, quadrupled, quadrupled! • Outsiders want to join!

  5. International Impact! • Partnering with the Intertribal Council of Arizona (ITCA) WIC program to host this conference • Nutritionists from Arizona, ITCA, Navajo Nation, American Samoa, CNMI, and Guam.

  6. Sweet and Nutritious Content! • Featured speakers from all over the country, including Arizona. • Hands on workshops • Keynote speakers discussing empathy, our clients, our skills

  7. Challenge! • We chose a world of challenges because we invest in human resources. • And we’re wise investors! • The first Annual RD Conference is the realization of how our hearts and minds are telling us to grow to support families in our program.
