  1. Mixed Connective Tissue Disease (MCTD) • Common symptoms • Raynaud’s phenomenon • Swollen fingers or hands • Anti-snRNP antibody • Mixed findings • SLE-like findings • Polyarthritis • Lymphadenopathy • Facial erythema • Pericarditis or pleuritis • Leukocytopenia (less than 4,000/mm3) or thrombocytopenia (less than 100,000/mm3) • PSS-like findings • Sclerodactyly • Pulmonary fibrosis, restrictive change of lung (%VC less than 80%) or reduced diffusion capacity (DLco less than 70%) • Hypomotility or dilatation of esophagus • PM-like findings • Muscle weakness • Increased serum level of myogenic enzymes (CPK) • Myogenic pattern in EMG • MCTD will be diagnosed when the following three conditions are fulfilled: • Positive in either one of two common symptoms • Positive anti-snRNP antibody • Positive in one or more findings in two or three disease categories of a, b, and c.
