YRRP Mission and Vision • Mission: To promote the well-being of National Guard and Reserve Members, their Families and Communities, by connecting them with resources throughout the deployment cycle. • Vision: A ready and resilient National Guard and Reserve Force successfully navigating the challenges of deployments.

WhatYellowRibbonDoes • Family member / designated representative Service Members and families / designated representative Provides resources and information to support Service members and their families during all phases of the deployment cycle. • Service members and families / designated representative at 30,60 & 90 days Service members 3

OSD Supports the Services • OSD YRRP Office provides policy, guidance and support the Services’ programs. • Each Service is responsible for funding, planning, and executing their program to meet their unique needs. • Liaison Officers from each of the Reserve Component Services and the Department of Veterans Affairs are detailed to OSD YRRP Office. • Center for Excellence • Outreach

  6. Roles Gather local, state, and national resources Participate in planning meetings and work groups Facilitate dialog between the Services & increase awareness of Service programs Move across Services, leverage similarities, and identify gaps

  7. Responsibilities • Represent DoD Yellow Ribbon Program in the field • Coordinate activities with Director of Outreach and LNOs • Report on attended meetings or YRP events • Provide feedback on program effectiveness

  8. Yellow Ribbon Reintegration Program Subject Matter Experts Conduit for information sharing between components, service providers, State, Federal Agencies and Service Liaison Officers (LNOs) DO GREAT THINGS! Expectations
