  2. Frampton - Biography • Born April 22nd 1950 • To date has the most sold copies for one album • Influenced by Jazz • Went to school with David Bowie

Frampton - Biography • Peter was always around the art of music, he took a real interest at the age of 7 when he starting playing guitar. • At a young age he began playing guitar and writing his own music. • Went to grade school with David Bowie • He took fame at an early age when he started playing in a band called “Little Ravens”

  4. Frampton - Biography • Peter would attend Bromley Technical high school, before he dropped out at the age of 16 to join the band called “The Herd.” • The band had 3 top hits world wide • He later started a band with Steve Marriot of Small Faces called “Humble Pie.”

Frampton - Biography • Peter Frampton recorded four solo albums, one of them being the most sold copies in history “Frampton Comes Alive!” released in 1976 would sell over sixteen million copies to date. Peter comically quoted “They say it has earned me millions of dollars. But To be honest, I’m still trying to find out if that’s true!”

Frampton - Biography • Around 1980 Frampton would take some personal time away from the spot life; writing music, playing guitar, and settling down to start a family. • In the late 80’s he begin to record another album titled “Premonition”. • He would partner back up with David Bowie and play guitar in some of Bowies most popular songs. • When Frampton felt it was time to get back into the spot light, he thought he would start out in small clubs, this was not the case, people wanted to see him at his best, selling out of 15,000 seat stadiums.

  7. Frampton - Biography • In the 90’s Peter released multiple albums and also remade “Frampton Comes Alive!” He quoted “These albums are some of my best work.”

  8. Frampton - Biography • In 1998 Peter would play with many famous musicians in a orchestral tribute to some great bands of Rock N’ Roll, like the Rolling Stones, The Beatles, The Who, Led Zeppelin, and Pink Floyd.

  9. Frampton - Biography • Over the next several years Frampton would continue on musical projects. • He had a custom guitar made by Gibson called “The Peter Frampton Signature Les Guitar”
