Bruce Piermarini is an American painter from the last twenty-five years. His artistic creations are very illusionistic, showing modeling, foreshortening, and dizzying spaces. He pursued his Masters degree in Fine Arts from Maryland Institute, College of Art, Baltimore, Maryland. After successfully completing his formal education, he came back to Massachusetts and continued his passion to paint. Since then, he has been creating beautiful paintings and exhibiting them all around the world.

Bruce Piermarini is an American painter, whose unique style of painting is highly acclaimed for its attention to detail, purity of color, and its vigor. His artistic creations are very illusionistic, showing modeling, foreshortening, and dizzying spaces. Piermarini has attained formal training and has been a painter for more than twenty-five years.
In 1975, he attended the School of Visual Arts in New York to pursue his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. There he studied with the Color Field Painters – Dan Christensen, Larry Zox, and Ronnie Landfield. However, his main influence has always been Morris Louis and Larry Poons. After receiving his degree in 1977, he went on to pursue Yale Norfolk Felloship in Norfolk, Connecticut. Next, he pursued his Masters degree in Fine Arts from Maryland Institute, College of Art, Baltimore, Maryland. After successfully completing his formal education, he came back to Massachusetts and continued his passion to paint.
Since then, he has been creating beautiful paintings and exhibiting them all around the world. Some of his major exhibitions held in the past are – Fiore International d' Art Contemporain (F.I.A.C.) France in 2004, REALTRA, St. Patrick's School, Gardiner's Hill, Cork, Ireland in 2005, Bruce Poermarini/Solo Exhibition, New Large Paintings, The Museum of New New Painting, Toronto, Canada in 2006, Looking at Art: a Primer, Boca Raton Museum of Art, Boca Raton, Florida in 2007, The Fluid Microcomic, Eagle Hill School, Hardwick, Massachusetts in 2010, Abstract Expressionism : Then and Now, Flint Institute of the Arts, 1120 E. in 2012, and many others. His latest work has received huge appreciation worldwide as he has added European surrealism to it, without interrupting his pursuit of Pallock and Louis. The best attribute of his new creations is their impressive virtuosity.
