  2. CONTAINER SAFE KIT – INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE • EMPTY KIT FROM BAG • LAY OUT THE KIT ON THE FLOOR • EXTEND THE RED ROPE • A RIGGING PLATE IS AT EITHER END OF THE RED ROPE

  3. CONTAINER SAFE KIT – INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE • EXTEND THE WHITE ROPE FROM THE RIGGING PLATES AT A RIGHT ANGLE TO THE RED ROPE. THE SYSTEM SHOULD LOOK LIKE AN ‘H’ • THIS IS HOW THE SYSTEM WILL LOOK ON TOP OF THE CONTAINER

  4. CONTAINER SAFE KIT – INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE • INSPECT THE ROPES AND ENSURE THERE ARE NO SIGNS OF DAMAGE • INSPECT THE HARNESS AND LANYARD AND ENSURE THERE ARE NO SIGNS OF DAMAGE • INSPECT KARABINERS AND ROPE GRABS AND ENSURE EACH FUNCTIONS CORRECTLY AND THERE ARE NO SIGNS OF DAMAGE

CONTAINER SAFE KIT – INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE • ATTACH ONE LARGE (GOLD COLOURED) KARABINER FROM THE PAIR ATTACHED TO A RIGGING PLATE AT ONE END OF THE RED ROPE TO A LIFTING POINT • ATTACH ONE LARGE KARABINER AT THE OTHER END OF THE RED ROPE TO THE OTHER LIFTING POINT ON THE SAME SIDE OF THE CONTAINER

CONTAINER SAFE KIT – INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE • IF THE FAR SIDE OF THE CONTAINER CAN BE ACCESSED FROM THE GROUND - • THROW THE REMAINING LARGE KARABINERS OVER THE CONTAINER AND ANCHOR TO THE LIFTING POINTS • IN TURN PULL THE WHITE ROPE THROUGH THE ROPE GRAB ATTACHED TO THE LARGE KARABINER UNTIL ALL ARE UNDER TENSION

  7. CONTAINER SAFE KIT – INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE • SECURE THE ADJUSTABLE LANYARD TO THE DORSAL (BACK) ATTACHMENT POINT ON THE HARNESS • ONCE ON THE ROOF ADJUST THE LENGTH OF THE LANYARD TO ENSURE YOU THE USER CANNOT FALL OVER THE EDGE

  8. CONTAINER SAFE KIT – INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE • PLACE A LADDER CLOSE TO A LIFTING POINT • CLIMB THE LADDER USING A ‘LADDER FOOTER’. ATTACH THE LANYARD TO THE LARGE KARABINER • WHEN ON THE ROOF DISCONNECT FROM THE LARGE KARABINER AND ATTACH TO THE OVAL MALLION ON THE RED ROPE

CONTAINER SAFE KIT – INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE • IF THE FAR SIDE OF THE CONTAINER CANNOT BE ACCESSED FROM THE GROUND – THROW THE REMAINING LARGE KARABINERS ONTO THE ROOF • CLIMB ONTO THE ROOF OF THE CONTAINER • ATTACH TO THE RIGGING PLATE • WHEN ON THE ROOF ATTACH THE NEAREST FREE LARGE KARABINER TO THE NEAREST LIFTING POINT ON THE FAR SIDE OF THE ROOF • CLIMB DOWN. THEN CLIMB UP NEXT TO THE OTHER LIFTING POINT AND REPEAT

  10. CONTAINER SAFE KIT – INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE • PULLTHE WHITE ROPE THROUGH THE ROPE GRABS AT EACH CORNER UNTIL EACH WHITE ROPE IS TIGHT AND THE RED ROPE IS CENTRAL • THEN PULL THE RED ROPE THROUGH THE ROPE GRAB ATTACHED TO THE RIGGING PLATE UNTIL THE RED ROPE IS TENSIONED

  11. CONTAINER SAFE KIT – INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE • DISCONECT FROM LIFTING POINT AND ATTACH THE LANYARD TO THE OVAL MALLION ON THE RED ROPE

  12. CONTAINER SAFE KIT – INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE • IF THE USER WISHES TO ACCESS THE ENDS OF THE CONTAINER ROOF DISCONECT FROM THE OVAL MALLION AND ATTACH TO ONE OF THE FREE HOLES ON THE RIGGING PLATE

CONTAINER SAFE KIT – INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE • IMPORTANT POINTS • ENSURE THAT ALL ROPES ARE TENSIONED • ENSURE THE ADJUSTABLE LANYARD IS CORRECTLY ADJUSTED SO THAT THE USER CANNOT FALL OVER THE EDGE • IF THERE IS ANY DOUBT AS TO THE SERVICEABILITY OF THE SYSTEM – DO NOT USE • IF YOU UNSURE OF HOW TO USE THE SYSTEM CORRECTLY – DO NOT USE.
