Enter PeopleSoft • To access PeopleSoft’s grading system • You must enter through NTC’s intranet • Open up Internet Explorer • In the address bar enter this URL/address http://Intranet.ntc.edu
Your browser should take you to • NTC’s intranet site To enter PeopleSoft click on this link
You should now see this PeopleSoft • Login screen
Login to PeopleSoft • You must enter your • Login • Note, login is case sensitive • It’s not the same as you network login • FYI, user ID and password are the same
From the next screen • Click on “Manage Student Records”
From the next screen • Click on “Establish Courses”
From the next screen • Click on “Report”
Finally, • Click on “Grade Roster Print”
One Time Only • The next two screens • Represent one time only tasks • Once you’ve completed these tasks • You never have to do them again • You must do these tasks • In the testing and production systems • From this time forward • Skip to the third slide after this one
This is a “One Time Only” task • This must be done in both PeopleSoft systems • Testing (SATEST) • And production (SAPROD) • Once you do this task, you never do it again • From this screen • Select “Add a New Value”
On the next screen • Type in “GRADE_ROSTER” (in caps) • Then click Add • Note this task is done one time only
After you’ve completed the previous • One time only tasks • You will start here • From this screen • Select “Search”
From these search results • Select “Class Roster”
Make sure “Academic Institution” = “NTC15” • Then select Term (use the magnifying glass)
You will now see the Lookup Term screen • Click the “Lookup” button
From the Lookup list, locate and click/select • The appropriate term • Of the roster you wish to print
From the next screen • Check the “Specific Class” check box
Now, it’s time to enter class numbers • (Note, class number is not course number) • They are located on your class roster or instructor schedule • Or, search for class numbers • Select the magnifying glass and refer to next slide in this presentation * • Note, you can enter multiple class numbers, • Entering one number then click + button, etc…..
* Lookup class number screen • Enter the course number • Click “Lookup” • Select the appropriate section
Once you have entered a/all class number(s) • You click the “Run” button
From the drop down boxes, 2. Select Type “Web” 3. Select Format “PDF” • 1. From this screen • Use the drop down list • Select the “Server Name” • Always select • “PSNT” • 4. Click “OK”
Yes, now you’re back at this screen • From this screen • Select “Report Manager”link
*Important • On this screen the status must = “Posted” • If not, click the “Refresh” button • This takes time, be patient
Adobe Acrobat Reader • * Important * • PeopleSoft reports are displayed and printed with • Adobe Acrobat Reader • Before you can view and print reports • This software must be installed on your PC • If it’s not installed • Call PC support/help desk (ext 3160) • They will install it on your PC
Once the status = “Posted” • If this is the first time • You will need to re-login • Click on “View” • Re-login to PeopleSoft • After you re-login • Or, if this is not the first time • You re-logged in, • You will see this screen
From this screen select • The file that ends with “PDF” • This is your printed roster PDF - Roster
To view this report • Click on the PDF • To print this report • Select Print
