Overview • He was thrown out of high school. • He worked for SDS for 5 years, organizing rallies and ran a newspaper. • He also worked as a promoter for SDS on high school and college campuses. • He told the draft board that he would go to Vietnam, but he would never shut up about it, so the United States military did not draft him.
Stories • He told us about how to deal with the police. He said that if you put a roll of nickels into a sock, or punch a horse in the butt with a nail, the horse will buck the cop into the street. • He was hit once by a night stick in the head. • He was not there for the Chicago Democratic National Convention because he had the flu.
