  2. Animals In The Grassland The lion hides in the grass.(this lion is in the show called ‘’Big Cat Direy.” ) The African lion walks in his territory. This prairie dog is very alert. The snake slivers on the rock.

  3. Here are some plants. Arrow leaf Balsamroot. Brent Cooke, RBCM. Bitterroot. Grass is the main plant.

  6. Do Grasslands have forests in them??? Well yes some of them can like this one.

  7. Here are some fun facts!!! Perennial grassland plants are adapted to bloom and grow while there is enough moisture in the soil and then withdraw the nutrients into the root system and wither away before the dry summer kills them. It is surprising how quickly a big, leafy plant like Arrow leaf Balsamroot can shrivel to a few thin, dry stalks sticking out of grey leaf litter on the ground.
