PROJECT: CDM Energy Secretariat REPORTING PERIOD: 1 – 31 Oct 2013 Project Brief/Summary • Appointed since 2002 • 101 registered energy projects with CDM EB • 37 CDM projects received CER Objectives • To carry out a first evaluation of CDM project proposals • To create awareness on CDM and disseminate information • To assist the DNA in monitoring the CDM projects • To provide reference materials as a guide in CDM project development • Project Fund: • RM 59,086.00 (NRE) • Duration: • May – Dec 2013 • Expected Outcomes • complete the Study on 2012 Grid Connected Electricity Baselines in Malaysia by Nov 13. • Prepare the Malaysia CDM Information Handbook V.3 (e-version) by Nov 13 • Conduct 3 Stakeholder Consultation Workshop on CDM Activities by Dec 13 • conduct 2 site visits to CDM projects on Sept & Oct 13 • Status • 90 % completed (data collection & analysis) • 100 % completed by July 2013 • 100 % completed • 100 % completed
