Analysis & Management Framework • Provides a high level assurance based ontology that allows information to be shared between IV&V tools. • Too much decomposition reduces flexibility, modularity and portability of design. • At the simplest level we deal with: • Projects • Participants • Artifacts • Assessments • Actions
IVV 09-1 Manage Responsibilities • “A continual review of the IV&V effort • Revision of the IPEP as necessary based upon updated Mission Project schedules and development status • Coordination of the IV&V results with the developer and other appropriate management groups • Promotion of technical exchange between IV&V and the developer (to improve technical knowledge transfer and increase IV&V effectiveness) • Identification of process improvement opportunities in the conduct of IV&V”
