  3. Game Idea 1 – Bird Shooter • Tremendous growth in mobile gaming in the last few years. • Touch Screen, gestured based devices • One idea which comes to mind is “Shooter Game” for a mobile device. • Unlike a FPS game this would be a fun game that tests your directional skills.

  4. Bird Shooter contd.. • Aim : Shoot as many Birds as possible. • How to Play? • A man with a bow and arrow stands at the left end • Birds flying up and down at the right end • Swoosh your finger from left to right to release the arrow. • Tapping the arrow while in flight, causes the arrows to replicate, so more birds can be killed

  5. Bird Shooter contd.. • Rules: A time limit will be set on the game. Record high scores. • Levels: • Several levels can be played . • Speed gets faster at higher levels. • The distance between the source and the birds increase

  6. Game Idea 2 : Multiplayer Pool game • Idea : Play multiplayer pool. Can be played either on one machine or over a network.  • How to:  • 1. Chose a side for each player.  • 2. Q ball has a direction line perpendicular to one portion of the ball. Once direction is set, click mouse.  • 3. Power bar which moves from one side to the other. Click when appropriate power level is reached. • 4. All other pool rules apply. 

  7. Multiplayer Pool contd.. • Challenges:  1. Implementing proper physics in the game.  2. Recognition of solid/stripe balls.  3. Recognition of potting of correct/ incorrect ball and providing additional turn. 4. Implementation of winner stays rule.
