Same Bible, Different opinions, verdict postponed on Gay Marriage • The article shows how many people are still against same sex- marriage. Some people say that Jesus never said to have a marriage of the same sex. People say that on the bible it says “Love God and Love your Neighbor as yourself” people that are against homosexual said that God did not gave his life for something like that. President Obama said that people can love each other and live equal. Obama said that know he supports same sex-marriage. All of this seems to just get peoples vote and be re-elected. • A principle that goes with is “Government policies have benefits and costs” is because the president is encouraging that citizens to re-vote for him and so that the hold state votes for him. But at the same way that it seems that is disrespectful to use the bible as a source to support this issue. That is because I believe that the bible should be respected is something symbolic for everyone's religion.
Obama heads to Hollywood • The article was mainly about how Obama flew to Hollywood, to raise up money for his campaign. The money is estimated to be 6 million dollars, this money will be used for the campaign of President Obama’s re-election. • This news report can be related to the 7th principle of economics, “Skills and knowledge influence income.” Obama is going to raise up money for his re-election campaign, he gets the donors money because he is known for his knowledge.
Obama and Romney trying to get Latino’s vote in Nevada • Two politics trying to get Latino’s vote. Some analysts show that the percent of Latinos that are able to vote have increased to a 20% which means that this year more Latinos can vote. But most of the ones that are planning to vote don’t really know because of the decisions each politic have taken to prove that they can take control. For example if Obama is re-elected citizens want him to decrease the number of people that are getting deported. • The nine principle that goes with is “Incentives Matter” that is because their incentive is just to be elected to be the next president. It means that most of the presidents are trying to get as many votes as they can.
Cops To Stand Trial In Homeless Man’s Beating Death • Officer Ramos was called to have a trial for the killing of a homeless man. His name was Kelly Thomas, 37 and suffered of mental illnesses. Ramos hit him with his baton, he had the assistance of 5 more officers. Not caring about Kelly’s condition, one of the officers taseredhim and he was experiencing respiratory problems. Kelly died 5 days later in a hospital. • The principal is “Incentive Matter” because Ramos and his officer abuse of his authority. This shows how people don’t respect the law.
Crimes in Mexico • The article says how crimes have increase in many parts of Mexico. For example on Sunday there found 43 bodies of men and six women with their heads, hands and feet chopped off were dumped at the entrance to the town of San Juan, on a highway that connects the industrial city of Monterrey. Some families have gone to Monterrey to see if one does victims were their family but is really hard to see because some of the bodies are already decomposed. This shows how the crimes have increased just because cartels of the mafia are trying to control many parts of Mexico but the only way they try to due it is by killing people. • One of the Nine Principles that mostly go with is “Incentive Matter” that is because it shows how people have just decide to kill each other to get more territory and continue commanding. All this shows how really the government is corrupted.
Canada's Housing Market Booms • In Toronto house prices have gone up to 600,000 in the city. After the economic depression, prices dropped but increased a little bit after and haven’t stopped since.
