  1. WP1Requirements update FFA Demonstrator Outline Johannes Karidas, FFA

  2. Steering Anti Catch-Up (SAC) steering wheel angle steering column motor offset angle gear box pinion angle steering rod • Limitation of the road wheel speed to an acceptable limit by using an active front steering system (AFS) • Motivation: same comfort, but smaller design of the servo system • Implementation: Matlab/Simulink (hardware-in-the-loop as outlook)

  3. Requirements Update • Unique identifier (SURS_SAC_No.) • Separation of the requirements in testable and non-testable • objective measurement: test + metric (design verification in software, hardware and test drives) • subjective evaluation: non-testable Subject Matter Expert (SME) • Requirements are complete at current state (depending on release phase) (redundant requirements have been removed, D1.1b) • Information how the requirements are tested: will be added (e.g. giving a step on input 1 and set input 2 to zero) • Faults: hints where feasible potential faults could be identified (see following slide) • Demonstrator outline: adding all relevant information about the SAC, including background hints for TCG1 and test application 1 test case generation

  4. Faults • Typical implementation errors • wrong brackets on offset correction (degradation over time) • Fault situations • many faults are rectified by an input fire wall (not part of SAC) • generation of a quality identifier with information about the fault IFW : input firewall OFW : output firewall ASIL : Automotive Safety Integrity Level with levels from A to D OFW IFW control signalto AFS steering wheel angle SAC quality identifier ASIL B ASIL D • TCG with faults reported from quality identifiers: will be added
