  4. 7th Grade Computers • Class Objectives • Learn the fundamentals of MS Office: • Word • Powerpoint • Excel • Learn internet use basics • Learn how to use graphics

  5. 8th Grade Multimedia • Class Objectives • Learn design basics • Learn web design using Ezedia and HTML • Create graphics and photos using Photoshop • Create music using Garage Band • Create movies using iMovie

  6. Grading • Students will be graded using the Middle School Report Card Format • 3 Grades • Summative Assessment Results • Weekly Work Habit/Effort • Weekly Behavior

  7. Attendance Be Here! If you are not here, I cannot teach you.

  8. Make-Up and Late Work • Make-up work has to be completed in Mr. Champagne’s Room. • YOU are responsible to schedule time with Mr. Champagne to work in his lab.

  9. Expectations • Be on time to class and get yourself started by beginning the posted warm-up. • Participate in ALL class activities • Complete ALL activities and projects • Work COOPERATIVELY with those around you.

  10. Problems??? • Try something DIFFERENT • Ask your neighbor for help • Ask Mr. Champagne for help by RAISING YOUR HAND

  11. Class RULE • Feel Free to do ANYTHING that does not cause a problem for ANYONE else. • Disrupt teaching or learning • Hurtful/harmful behavior • Computer Use Policy
