  3. Present tense used as future • The adverbs heute (today), morgen (tomorrow), and übermorgen (the day after tomorrow) are commonly used with the present tense to express future ideas. Use them with these time expressions to specify the time of day at which a future action will occur.

  4. Present tense used as future • Use am with Morgen, Vormittag, Mittag, Nachmittag, Abend, Wochenende, or the days of the week to specify when something will occur. When both the day of the week and the time of day are specified, they form a compound noun: Dienstagmittag, Mittwochabend.

  6. Present tense used as future • The adjective nächste (next) can be used with time-related nouns such as days of the week, seasons, and months. In this usage, it takes accusative endings.
