4. Student Sections Competition Awards:
$300, a permanent plaque, and a traveling trophy (if there is one) to the student section that earns the most points.
$200 and a permanent plaque to the student section that earns the second most points.
$100 to the student section scoring the third most points.
$50 to the student section showing the greatest numerical improvement in points.
A Certificate of Accomplishment to each student section scoring 400 or more points.

Second Place Inter-district Award: $500, Permanent Second Place Trophy
Third Place Inter-district Award: $250, Permanent Third Place Trophy

A comprehensive set of variables is used to evaluate student section effectiveness
Each variable is weighted, and the strength of a section is determined by the total number of points accumulated
A good section is one that exhibits a wide diversity of activities.
