IRFU GRIF sub site To fulfill our pledge for LHC: 300 TB more storage : 10 DELL R710 20 Disk arrays MD1000 (15*1TB, RAID 6) 42 Bull RX422 E2 : 2 X 2 Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5520@2.27GHz 2x24 GB memory Decommissioning of 23 IBM e326M installation of a fire prevention system in the new computer room (with liquid cooled racks). Network • Tests on the GRIFVlan using Jumboframes : • OK between the different servers involved in GRIF • But some problems whithtransferts using “Internet acces” to the CEAnet(CMS Phedextransferts) • No need to use IP V6 for the moment (GRIF Irfu machines are using two Class C IP V4 network now). • Use of an IPMI dedicated network to manage the machines.   7. Windows news @IRFU All new laptop and desk top machines installed with Windows 7 64 bits by default (XP and 32 bits version on demand only). Office 2010 being tested HEPiX Fall 10
