  3. Apache: the new CEA securityscheme • It has been decided the enforce the security on the CEAnet network(see the presentation of Joël SURGET later this week). • First impact on Windows servers and clients on the internal network!

  4. networking • Eduroam available on the CEAnetWiFi network for external users. • Also available for CEA users from external sites but not in Saclay ! • Some work on the LHCOne link …

  6. Convention with IN2P3 • The convention between DSM, IRFU and IN2P3 has been signed ! • Since 1993 the CC-IN2P3 is the main computing center used by the HENP community of searchers of IRFU!

  7. IRFU Grifsub site • New computingresources : • 7 DELL C6220 : Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E 52 670 with 64 gbit memory • New storagefacilities : • 19 DELL PowerEdgeR720xd • 12 disks 3TB per server • New machines for Grid services: • 5 DELL R 610 • 2 DELL R 720XD for database service • Migration fromQuattorbased installation to Puppet (see the presentation of Frédéric Schaer).

  8. IRFU local computing • Installation of a new cluster “Synergium-Intensité” : • Computing on accelerator cavities • 256 computing cores • Infiniband network • 30 Terabytes storage

  9. Windows • Windows 8.1 clients by default! • Windows 7 (64 bits) supported • Update of Hyper-V cluster (news servers) • Windows XP machines on a restricted network!

  10. News on infrastructure • Third “water cooled” room installed : • New racks   • 5 new 20 KW racks  (schroff LHX20) in 2013 • 4 * 40 KW racks  (schroff LHX30) in 2014 • 6 more   next year • + 220 KW Water cooled in 2013  • + 220 KW in 2015 • Need to update the low voltage panel of building : • new 400 A module in June • New 600 A low voltage panel  next year • Backup : New Robot  Oracle SL 3000 • 4 LT06, 1 LT04 • 500 slots
