2. Introduction Every year , Americans throw away a lot of trash , that sometimes could be reused or recycled. We have made this work about the 3 R’s to alert our class that the planet earth is our home , and we have to take care of it. So after our presentation , we hope that all of you don’t throw more trash to the ground , and start our mission to save our planet.

3. Reduce The first of the 3 R’s is Reduce. Reducing the amount of waste you produce is the best way to help the environment. There are lots of ways to do this. For example: • Buy things that don’t have a lot of packing • Borrow things that you don’t use very often , to someone that needs them • The people that go to the same way, give a ride to each other • Use the computer instead of buying newspapers • Save energy by turning off lights that you are not using.

4. Reuse The second R is Reuse. Instead of throwing things away, try to find ways to use them again! For example: Bring cloth sacks to the store with you instead of taking home new paper or plastic bags. Use the paper on both sides. Use your imagination , reuse Coffee cans, shoe boxes, margarine containers to make something cool , instead of buying.

5. Recycle The third and last R is Recycle. Recycled items are put through a process that makes it possible to create new products out of the materials from the old ones. You can recycle things that you use every day like milk cartons , bottle of water and so on.

6. Conclusion With this work , we start to make our difference in the world. We are just 2 girls , but together we can change it to a better and healthy world!
