  1. Last year on the 22 April Vision 2020 was launched through a Global Day of Action including at the United Nations

  2. Over 50 Member Associations around the world on the same day organized informationsessions, talks, marches and other initiatives with dignitaries and partners.

  3. This year… Global Day of Action on Goal 1: SRHR an essential priority in the post-2015 framework • National events to reach decisions makers in over 100 countries around the world on 13th May • Launch a new I Decide public petition Global Day of Action 13 May 2014

  4. On 13 May National events/lobbies that reach as many decision makers as possible. Two main demands: • Promote national policy and practice change in line with CPD outcomes (we will send a policy briefing after CPD). • Promote the inclusion of SRHR in the post-2015 framework • Launch a new public petition that calls on world • leaders to prioritise SRHR……

Petition will run until mid-2015 • Public part of the post-2015 advocacy • Targets world leaders inc. the UN Secretary General “We demand that leaders across the world support sexual and reproductive health and rights so that everyone can decide what happens to their body, who they live with and the size of their families.” Full details will be provided in a pack at the end of March
