Globecom 2010 There were 143 papers submitted to the GlOBECOM SAC track on Cognitive Radio & Cognitive Networks. This was the largest track in SAC. The main updates concern the details of the papers selected.
Successful papers The number of papers selected in total was 46. This amounted to 32% acceptance rate. Under GLOBECOM rules these papers are then assigned to be presented orally or as posters. The assignment to a poster session is made on a practical basis and does not indicate lesser quality. It relates to being able to accommodate the numbers of papers accepted. We were given guidelines as to the number that should be accepted. In this case there are 36 papers and 12 posters.
Topics The accepted papers were spread across the areas. They are grouped under the broad headings of Sharing, Sensing, Security, Routing, Learning and Experimental. 12 of the 18 SAC sessions in the GLOBECOM programme are on cognitive radio. There are other papers relating to cognitive radio in other more general tracks.
