Quick Start Install Steps Before installing TestNav Proctor Cache software, confirm your computer meets minimum system requirements at http://pearsononlinetesting.com/TN7Requirements. • Proctor Cache Installer for PC Windows • Download the PC caching application (~46MB). • Save the file, and then double-click the executable file to begin the installation. • Click the Runbutton to launch the installer, and then use the wizard to continue installing proctor caching. Install Proctor Cache (PC)

Proctor Caching Install for PC, cont. • You will be prompted if you would like to save this file; click the Save File button. • Double-click the executable file to open the installer. • You will be prompted with a security message. Click the Runbutton to launch the installer. • Note: Depending on your version of Windows, you may need to click a Yesor Nextbutton instead of a Runbutton. Install Proctor Cache (PC)

  4. Proctor Caching Install for PC, cont. • Read the Introduction, and then click Nextto continue. Install Proctor Cache (PC)

  5. Proctor Caching Install for PC, cont. • Proxy server information displays. Verify that the proxy server information is correct or enter the correct information. Click the Nextbutton. Note: If the proctor caching computer will use an upstream proxy computer to access the Internet, refer to the Tips on Proctor Caching section of the Proctor Caching User Guide.   6. Proctor Caching Install for PC, cont. • Accept the default destination folder and click Next. If you want to install in a location other than the default, click the Choosebutton. Install Proctor Cache (PC)

  7. Proctor Caching Install for PC, cont. • Select the location to create the TestNav Proctor Cache product icons. If you would like the icons to appear when all users log in to the computer, select the “Create Icons for All Users” checkbox, and then click the Nextbutton. Install Proctor Cache (PC)

  8. Proctor Caching Install for PC, cont. • Leave the checkbox selected in the Start Proctor Cache screen to launch the software upon install, or deselect the checkbox to launch the software manually. Then click the Nextbutton. Install Proctor Cache (PC)

  9. Proctor Caching Install for PC, cont. • Review the pre-installation summary, and then click the Installbutton. Install Proctor Cache (PC)

  10. Proctor Caching Install for PC, cont. • You will see a progress bar and status information indicating that proctor caching is installing. Install Proctor Cache (PC)

  11. Proctor Caching Install for PC, cont. • When the installation is finished, the Install Complete screen displays. Click the Donebutton to close the installation. Note: You should restart your computer before launching TestNav Proctor Cache. Install Proctor Cache (PC)

  12. Proctor Caching Install for PC, cont. • When you are ready to start the proctor caching software to cache test content, go to Start > Programs > ProctorCache> Start Proctor Caching to launch the TestNav Proctor Cache program. Install Proctor Cache (PC)
